SafeCar Services was founded in 2003, and began coordinating transportation services in June 2004. SafeCar Services is a privately-held California Limited Liability Corporation, with corporate offices located in Santa Cruz, California.
SafeCar's primary customer support facility is located in Phoenix, Arizona, with secondary support facility located in Norfolk, Virginia. Customer support is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. SafeCar Customer Care Specialists provide support to callers in both English and Spanish. These operations, along with a national network of sister operations, manage over 17 million trips annually.
SafeCar coordinates local ground transportation services for cardholders in all 50 states through a network of over 1000 independent, third-party local transportation companies. Our one-stop national ground transportation network includes taxicabs, paratransit vans, shuttles, black cars, and others among its nationwide fleet. These providers deliver transportation services in over 1500 local cities, towns, and communities. SafeCar is not a transportation company however, and does not provide or control the transportation services provided for cardholders. Accordingly, SafeCar Services' cardholders assume all risk of the use of the transportation services coordinated by SafeCar.
SafeCar Services is registered agent of KeyBank National Association, and an approved Merchant Service Provider (MSP) for MasterCard® International Incorporated.
